This past summer August 2024, I had the pleasure of dining at Parm in New York, a sister restaurant to Carbone, which has always been my go-to when I'm in the city. Since we didn't have a reservation for Carbone and couldn't risk waiting as we had a baseball game to catch, we decided to try Parm--and I'm so glad we did! The food at Parm was nothing short of spectacular, and the price point was unmatched. Honestly, after this experience, I might never go back to Carbone. My family and I ordered almost everything on the happy hour menu, sharing each dish so we could sample it all. We also split an entrée featuring the famous spicy rigatoni (also served at Carbone) paired with chicken cutlets. To my surprise, the spicy rigatoni at Parm was even better than Carbone's. What really stood out was the value. We had so much food--far more than we could finish--and spent about half (or less) of what a meal at Carbone would have cost. Unfortunately, since we couldn't take leftovers with us on the train, we gave the untouched food to someone outside who was asking for help, which made us feel good about not letting it go to waste. The service was excellent. We sat at the bar, and it was super easy to walk in, get seated, eat, and be out within an hour and a half--perfect timing for our game. Parm is efficient, delicious, and offers an incredible experience without the hefty price tag. I highly recommend Parm to anyone visiting New York, especially if you're looking for a more affordable alternative to Carbone. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the city! Side bar -- our bartender, gave us amazing service and suggested some drinks on the happy hour menu, which were super light but gave us a slight buzz!

Don't let this rating fool you! I recently visited on a Tuesday night and was lucky to snag a small table for myself. The place is a hole in the wall very quaint and cozy. They don't accept reservations, but despite its small size it was very busy with people having dinner and takeout orders. Frank Saponara the manager was beyond pleasant, he was very attentive and welcoming. I ordered a glass of house Cabernet wine and for dinner, of course I had their famous Chicken Parm & Carbone spicy rigatoni. Very generous portions! This was so delicious, amazing pasta sauce and the most perfect Parm! I cannot wait to visit again!

Dont let this tiny restaurant fool you. The food packs a punch Ambiance:4/5 very cozy space that you probably wont spend more than an hour at. Service: 5/5 super speedy food came in like 8 mins and it was piping hot. Hostess was very accommodating and bartenders were helpful Food 10/5 because that parm sandwich was sooooo good, seriously I was thinking about it all week. Def tasted like a very fresh very flavorful chicken parm and I would 1000 percent be going back to try other items. The drinks were cool nothing crazy but the fooddddd sooo worth it.

I recently visited Parm in Nolita on a Friday night for a date night with my boyfriend, and I have to say, I'm a bit surprised by the restaurant's rating. With a score of just 3.4, I wasn't expecting the place to be as popular as it is, especially given that it's a smaller location. This is likely the original spot, and despite its size, it was fully packed with people dining in and placing takeout orders. The atmosphere was bustling, and it was clear that Parm is a beloved spot for many, which made the lower rating even more surprising. But regardless of the rating, we had a fantastic time. I started with a Parm sangria and a rosé--both of which were absolutely delicious. For my meal, I ordered the shrimp platter, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was simply amazing. Adding a bit of tomato sauce to it just elevated the dish to another level of deliciousness. The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The food, the drinks, and the overall experience made for an amazing night. Parm in Lolita is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone in the neighborhood looking for great Italian food. Don't let the rating fool you--this place is worth a visit!

OH MY GOD! This is my favorite place in the city right now and I do my best to introduce it to all my friends and family. Parm on Mulberry St. is a tiny restaurant that serves some of the best italian cuisine in big portions at a reasonable price. Although their menu is on the smaller side, each of their dishes come out fresh, hot, and very tasty. I usually enjoy their pizza garlic rolls and mozzerella sticks for appetizers and eggplant parm platter for dinner. The best part is that all the platters come with a side of spicy rigatoni that is very similar to the one at Carbone. Basically, you get a 2 in 1 deal when ordering a platter. Seating is very limited and it is crammed in the restaurant so be prepared to enjoy a hearty meal on a small table while bumping elbows with the person next to you. There are a couple tables in the restaurant and outside. There is also bar seating. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They are good at making conversation and make you feel at home while you enjoy your meal. This place is a must try!

update// Invited back by Parm to try the restaurant again. The food is excellent in-restaurant. Conveniently located in SoHo, indoor and outdoor seating - the outdoor seating is particularly well-kept, clean and has a great ambiance. Appreciate that it's not one of those enclosed shipping container type outdoor spaces but an actual dedicated space with umbrellas, tables, etc. The service was very kind and quick. Signature Caesar Salad Covered in powdered parm which really takes away from the dish. Large homemade croutons. Rigatoni Carbone A subtly spicy tomato cream sauce (calabrian chili) with perfectly al dente rigatoni. Their signature dish and for a good reason. Penne Scampi The shrimp here are cut up into smaller pieces and honestly not amazing quality - there is a bit of that strong scent/flavor that comes with frozen shrimp. The garlic sauce is rather light for what it is - doesn't hold a candle to the rigatoni carbone unfortunately. previous review// Extremely disappointed with a delivery experience I had with Parm. Normally the rigatoni carbone comes with plenty of sauce, however on my 04/29 order there was almost no sauce on the dish at all. I've included a side by side comparison of what the dish normally looks like vs what I received. When attempting to contact the restaurant, all their automated redirects automatically hang up the phone without directing you to anyone, which is again, unacceptable.

Visited Parm for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and my party of 2 was seated right away. The indoor space is extremely small with only a few tables. The decor was cute, but overall the ambiance suffered a bit due to the tight nature of the space. We ordered garlic bread, meatballs, and the spicy rigatoni. After we ordered, we were informed they were running a promotion where if you sign up for their rewards program, you receive complimentary pizza knots. Highly recommend! The service was friendly, and the food came extremely quickly. Everything tasted really great, with the star of the show being the pasta. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed ourselves. In the future, I would probably opt for one of the more spacious Parm locations, but I would definitely go back.
